Indy 500 Race Weekend

out and about

Today i went to the farmer's market. Auntie Hiromi is in town from Tokyo. We went to the Green City Market outside next to the Lincoln Park Zoo. There were a ton of babies and dogs out. It was a beautiful sunny day. I am still teething. I haven't yet cracked my fourth tooth although you can see it about to burst through the gum.

I ate soy yogurt and rice cereal today. I am drinking from a sippy cup with assistance. I haven't yet figured out how to hold the darn thing add sip through it at the same time. I am beginning to hold onto my bottles by myself.

I will add more photos at some point. I am just trying to tune in more often.

and the beat goes on

I hung out with Uncle Jimmy last week. It was great of him to fly from Brooklyn to Chicago to hang with me. I think that I wore him out. I went to Eero's first birthday gathering on Sunday. Dad and I had a great weekend together.
Today I woke up the parents around 6:45 am which is typical of me. They went to work shortly after that and Anna and I hung out. She took me to see my little friend who I actually played with today. We laughed, talked gibberish, and played with toys together. I think that she is about two months older. I am still dragging my belly on the floor. I do come up onto all fours but not often. I am about to master standing while holding onto something. I can hold onto the couch and walk from one side to the other, one side to the other, one side to the other, and well, you get the point.
I am starting to laugh more often. I love to just hang out and look at you and begin to laugh until you laugh and that goes on until the break of dawn. The other thing that Mom started to do is run toward me and tickle me.
Tomorrow Mom and I are going to the farmer's market. I think that Hiromi is in town from Japan to see me and she is coming along. Maybe Michelle and Ada as well. I will keep you updated.

more teeth

i have three teeth and soon to have four. i am getting pretty crabby about them coming in. i have woken up mommy and daddy in the middle of the night several times. before the third one cut through the gum i was pooping like crazy. green, brown, and even sometimes orange poops. some of them looked just like whatever i ate for dinner. the sweet potatoes looked as if i could scoop them out of my diaper and eat them again. but i would never ever do that!
